Our company, which has tackled odor control in various factories, will introduce case studies. 【Odor Control Measures for Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant Exhaust】 ■Background We received a consultation from a fertilizer manufacturing plant regarding odor control measures for odors generated during the production process of superphosphate. Although it was a fertilizer manufacturing plant, there was a unique odor in the field that had never been smelled before, prompting us to conduct a verification demonstration test. During the test, we measured odors generated during other fertilizer manufacturing processes, but it was determined that the superphosphate process had the most powerful exhaust system. Our company, which has tackled odor control measures for various factories, will introduce case studies from overseas. 【Odor Control Measures for Automotive Parts Manufacturing Factory (Aluminum Casting)】 ■Background We received a consultation from an automotive parts manufacturing factory in Thailand, which was experiencing odor complaints from surrounding factories and wanted to implement countermeasures. Upon confirming the current situation, we found that the main odors were phenol, burnt smells, and ammonia odors generated during aluminum casting. Although measures such as raising the height of existing exhaust outlets had been implemented, complaints continued unabated. Our company, which has tackled odor control for various factories, will introduce some case studies. 【Indoor Exhaust Odor Control During Garlic Processing】 ■Background A garlic seasoning processing factory was built, and during production, the indoor environment was filled with a strong garlic-like pungent odor, prompting the consideration of new ventilation equipment. There was a request to take into account the impact of odors on the outside. The target odor was a garlic-based complex sulfur odor (a strong odor that stings the nose), and a preliminary demo test was conducted to verify how much odor reduction was possible.
